Problem Spark’s existing brand was oriented around the beneficiary, not the broker, creating friction in go-to-market. A brand designed for the end consumer says ’tool.’ A brand designed for the broker says ’partner.’ That distinction matters when you're asking someone to restructure their business around your platform.
Solution One clear strategic call: center the broker, not the beneficiary. The refreshed identity, website, and messaging were built to speak broker-to-broker. The rebrand supported growth to 3,400+ broker partners and $43.6M in total funding.

BRAND STRATEGY Independent Medicare brokers are the unsung heroes of healthcare. They tirelessly help people everyday find in-network providers, apply for loans and certifications and take care of surprise bills. Spark recognizes the dreams of these brokers to create something bigger and better by partnering with them to expand their network and grow their business through digital tools. Spark’s brand strategy put the brokers front and center elevating their stories and acting as a support system for them to reach the impossible.


IDENTITY We evolved the Spark identity refreshing it’s typographic word mark to be clean, modern and unique and combined it with a redrawn Spark “north star” icon, The identity acts as a beacon for business owners, representing the lofty ambitions they have as business owners and Spark’s ability to help them achieve their goals.





APPLICATION Building a brokerage business is complex and challenging. Spark puts brokers at the center giving them access to tools and services to grow their business. To visualize this we built a modular grid system built from the curves of the identity to create a system that could house photography, product UI, data, and testimonials to complete the picture of what running a brokerage business on Spark looks like.



Series B seed raised with 60% of brokers logging into the Spark platform daily
LAUNCH Aiming for a Series B fundraise, we designed, built, and launched the Spark website in 5 weeks. Additionally we provided their global marketing team with templates and assets for localized launches targeted to specific regions and customers.




Spark Advisors builds tools, technology, and professional network infrastructure for independent Medicare brokers. Company Policy evolved the Spark brand as the company expanded its platform, refreshing the visual identity, website, and messaging around a single strategic call: centre the broker, not the beneficiary.
The rebrand supported growth to 3,400+ broker partners and $43.6M in total funding, including a $25M Series B closed in August 2024.
